Southwest Florida Lacrosse draws its players mostly from Naples, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers, Florida, on the white sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

For fifteen years, there has been a men's lacrosse team in Southwest Florida. It's name has changed over the years--Gulfshore Gorillas, Fort Myers Lacrosse, Buckets Lacrosse, etc--but the idea was always the same: have fun playing a great sport. (Read our history here.)

This year, there is more variety in lacrosse opportunities than ever before...men's field lacrosse, boy's field lacrosse, and indoor lacrosse.

Our men's team is coming off its most successful season ever, with 5 wins in the Florida Lacrosse League. We look forward to an equally successful season in 2000-2001, especially in view of proposed changes in the league's format that will place small teams like ours in the same division as other equally small teams.

If you are a player age 16 ad up you are eligible to play with our men's team. We are long on defensemen and short on midfielders. Goalkeepers are always needed, as are good attacker...in short, we need just about anything. Please drop us a line and let us know how to reach you!
