2/1 - text 1/1. Originally, the program for
the premier of the film Uncommon Friends
of the Twentieth Century was to be a throw-away
piece with no inherent shelf life. With no
real budget except for the donated printing,
we tried to make the piece something that
would be retained and, hopefully, displayed
with pride after the event. We were successful--even
a year after the event, one can occasionally
find coies of the brochure in professinoal
office waiting rooms around Southwest Florida.
The piece received two awards from the Florida
Public Relations Association, which we felt
was a nice compliment (even thought the
company that submitted the piece for awards
had nothing to do with its development!).
